Jerusalem Mar Thomas Church has always believed in translating thoughts and discussions into solid actions that reflect a holistic outlook, and therefore, since the beginning, the various segments of the church have endeavoured to engage in activities that help the society around us.

The Wardha Mission Project was established in 1983 by the Youth Wing of the church to help the marginalized in Wardha, Maharashtra, to take these developmental and progressive throughts to the deep villages of our country. The ladies wing of the church establishes a Ladies Hostel in Kalkaji, New Delhi to help single women find safe and secure place to stay while in the city looking for jobs or working alone.

The Emmaus Home was established at Aya Nagar, New Delhi as our outreach to facilitate transit as a safe and secure place to stay for some days for the marthoma community. This building is also used as a Nursery School to give basic education to the kids around the place. A Medical Mission is organized by the Healthcare community of the church every second Sunday at the church premises to provide basic healthcare facilities to the poor and needy around the church.
