The first Vicar of our parish Rev. Dr. Koshy Mathew was appointed on 1st January 1983. Since then we have been privileged to have the leadership by inspiring and dynamic Vicars.
Vicars...
In wake of the tremendous growth of the parish in the last decade, there was a compelling need for Assistant Vicar to cater to the large community of members of Jerusalem Mar Thoma Church.
The Sabha leadership heeded the request of the church and Rev. K.P.Sabu took charge as the first Assistant Vicar-1 in 2000.
As the church grew in size and membership, the need to undertake social projects was felt by the church and youths of the church. In 1989, the Jerusalem Mar Thoma Church Yuvajana Sakhyam started the Wardha Mission Project with the aim to serve the underprivileged and neglected sects of our society.
As the work and mission in Wardha developed and grew, a need was felt to appoint another Assistant Vicar who would be based in Wardha. Rev. Noble Abraham was appointed as the Assistant Vicar-2 in 2015.
